We're getting married!

We first met at a mutual friend's birthday celebration. We both have a more introverted personality so we didn't talk much until the end of the night. It also didn't help that half way through Gabrielle mentioned how she refused to talk to boys in a fraternity or the military because they were usually crazy. That was a 0/2 start for Trey. When the night came to an end, Trey asked Gabrielle if she wanted to go to Steak n' Shake with him and she said no. But, she did agree to drive him there. When we arrived, Gabrielle could tell Trey wanted to ask for her info, but Trey was so nervous nothing came out. Gabrielle could tell that was what Trey wanted to ask, and she did all the hard work for him! From that night on, everything clicked. It sounds cheesy, but it's true!

Trey and Gabrielle were able to go on a trip with their roommate who used to live out in Portland, OR for a spring break. After some careful months of planning between them, it was decided that we would get engaged at Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. Trey thought Gabrielle had no idea the day of, but she knew all along what was coming. Trey tried to wear overly nice clothes to go hike the falls in, and was acting nervous about getting everything right. Trey had to coordinate down to the minute for our mutual friends to capture every moment leading up to, during, and post the engagement. Trey chose the coldest and windiest spot to ask for Gabrielle's hand in marriage. Even that couldn't ruin the moment, and it's one we'll both remember forever for many reasons.
