Wedding Party

Shanley Horvitz

Maid of Honor

Shanley Horvitz, my Maid of Honor and younger sister, has always been the one who knows how to entertain in every sense of the word. Whether she’s making people laugh, singing an aria, bringing energy into any room, or turning even the simplest moments into something special, she has a way of making life feel lighter and more joyful. Growing up with her has been one of the greatest gifts, and I couldn’t imagine standing at the altar without her by my side.

Nicholas DiJohn

Best Man

Nick is my oldest and best friend. Endless hours in the gym and traveling for magic tournaments has forged a deep connection between us and I know I can rely on him to be there when I need him most.

Jennifer Gaffney

Matron of Honor

Jenn Gaffney truly is a “Jenn of all trades.” She has become my sounding board for just about everything, always ready to listen, offer advice, and somehow make even my wildest ideas feel possible. No matter how big or crazy the vision, she jumps in with excitement and helps bring it to life. We met four years ago through the Voorhees Township Art Commission, and instantly clicked when her daughter Abby joined my theater company. Since then, she has become such a steady, supportive, and irreplaceable part of my life, truly one of the best.

David Fleischmann-Rose

Groomsman

David has always been a great friend, and a great source of knowledge about life. Whether its offering options on a proper scotch or having an in depth discussion about a novel we've both read I can always count on David to lend an ear and help me through any problems.

Jennifer Morris Grasso

Matron of Honor

Jen Grasso is someone who truly shares my love for theater in every way. We met in the summer of 2017 doing High School Musical 2 together where I was introduced to her creative choreography and we’ve been creating theater ever since. She isn’t just one of my best friends, she’s like my sister. Having someone you can dream with, be creative with, and completely trust is such a beautiful thing, and that’s exactly what she is to me. We’ve created so much theater magic together, and I’m so grateful for every moment. It means the world to have her by my side as my Matron of Honor.

Thomas Hertfelder

Groomsman

Tom is one of the first people I got to know in the magic community. He instantly went out of his way to talk to me and feel included. We've drifted apart and gotten closer over the years but it's his inclusiveness and empathy that never makes it feel strained and we always fall back in together quickly.

Alli Kochoa

Bridesmaid

Alli Blackman is by far my oldest best friend, going all the way back to elementary school. We’ve been through every stage of life together, from awkward middle school days, to the actual stage, to high school memories we might rather forget, and now into our adult lives. Having someone who has been there for all of your milestones is such an incredible gift, and this next chapter wouldn’t feel complete without her by my side.

Jeremy Saidel

Groomsman

Jeremy is the bedrock of our friend group. Always quick to have a great conversation, will go out of his way to help anyone and everyone that crosses his path. It's always a delight when we can get him out and about this should be no exception!

Brittany Lynn

Bridesmaid

Brittany and I met through my cousin Lillian, who confidently said, “You guys will be friends” and she was 100% right. From the very beginning, Brittany has been that friend who is always there when you need someone most. She’s always down for a good time, ready to try something new, and the perfect person to go on any adventure or vacation with. I’m so lucky that one introduction turned into such a meaningful and lasting friendship.

Niels Engelbrecht

Groomsman

Niels is a new addition to my life, but certainly not a small one. I love our chats about sports and you are one of the ones I gravitate to in any of the Horvitz family gatherings. Gab and I always ask when we get to see you again, and am over joyed to have you here.

Emma Mangano

Bridesmaid

Emma is that kind of friend you don’t have to see all the time, because whenever you do, it feels like no time has passed at all. She’s always there when I need her, no matter what. We went to Temple University together, but really grew close after graduation, and I’m so grateful we did. She’s always up for trying new restaurants, new experiences, and making the most out of every moment. It’s been especially special going through this wedding planning journey side by side, since we got engaged just one day apart, we've been busy comparing notes, sharing quotes, swapping wedding vendor horror stories, and navigating it all together.

Peter McCaffrey

Bridesman

Peter and I met when we first moved into our second house in Voorhees, he came riding over on dirt bikes, and my mom immediately told my sister and me to never go on them. Little did any of us know, Peter would become such a constant in my life. From those early days to middle school, where he was somehow my mom’s favorite in tech crew, we were always trying to one-up each other and somewhere along the way, that turned into a bond that’s lasted through everything. My brother from another mother. Peter, my wedding party truly wouldn’t be complete without you. Having you in my life has been one of my greatest blessings. We fight like siblings but love even harder, and you are truly my yin to my yang. We’ve been through so much together on this journey called life, but no matter what, we always find our way back to each other. I am so grateful to have you by my side on this special day.

Mary Kate Seville

Bridesmaid

To my Bravo-binging bestie, Mary Kate....what would I do without you and our shared love for reality TV?! I’ve known Mary Kate since high school (even though she’s my sister’s age), but as we’ve grown older, our friendship has become so special. From poolside days during COVID, to our iconic Cape Cod girls trip in the summer of 2020, to visiting you in LA and helping you learn to drive on the way to Palm Springs, every memory with you is one I’ll never forget. I am so incredibly grateful for you and all the laughter, adventures, and memories we’ve shared.

Steve & Alberta Harvey

Parents of the Groom

I appreciate everything my parents have done for me throughout my life. My dad Steve, instilling in me a good work ethic and helping me realize that I can work through any problem if I apply myself and try hard enough. My mom Alberta, who was always supportive though every new hobby I had to try, and giving me my love of cooking. To both of them for giving me a great example of what a strong and love filled marriage looks like and how hard you have to work to build something that can stand the test of time. I love both of you and can't wait to see you both on mine and Gabby's special day!

Lew & Liz Horvitz

Parents of the Bride

Our parents are the foundation of everything we are. They have supported us through every step of our journey from childhood dreams to building our lives together and have welcomed each of us into their families with open arms. Their love, guidance, and constant encouragement have meant more than we can ever put into words. We are so grateful to have them standing beside us as we begin this next chapter. From Gab’s perspective, my parents have shown us what love truly is and have always reminded me to never settle for anything less. Thank you for showing us the way and supporting us through it all. We are so incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done throughout my whole life we have big shoes to fill but we are so excited for this next chapter. We thank you for everything and especially for planning and hosting this beautiful celebration. This is only the beginning, and we cannot wait to start this next chapter with a bang, surrounded by our closest family and friends.
