It was a beautiful autumn afternoon at the dog beach in Del Mar, CA. Ryan's dog (Betty) and Gabrielle's dog (Lucy a.k.a. "Goose") met sniffing around the beach. The four walked and talked on the beach for hours. Everyone knew it was the beginning of something wonderful.

On week-long vacation in Florida (which was supposed to be the Bahamas but the couple canceled it due to the Zika threat), Gabrielle and Ryan were traveling around and spending time in various locations to maximize their Floridian experience. They spent a few days in Hollywood, a few days in Key Largo, and a few in Key Biscayne. On one of their adventurous days, the duo drove down to Key West and took their photo at the infamous oversized buoy monument that signifies Key West is 90 miles from Cuba. On their way back up to Key Largo, Ryan insisted on finding a geocache near this cool looking bridge that had been damaged during Hurricane Florence. The couple cruised around the area as the sun began to set and the sky turned pink. Ryan got down on one knee and moments later Gabrielle and Ryan were engaged! To help celebrate their engagement, a group of nearby high school kids who had witnessed the event clapped for the couple.

Gabrielle and Ryan love to travel and have visited many places during their time together. They've zoomed around the island of Koh Samui by moped. They got matching tattoos in Bangkok. They toured Castillo de Chapultepec in Mexico City. They've galavanted across the United States. They moved their lives from Encinitas, California to Austin, Texas... but neither Gabrielle or Ryan have been on a cruise! For their honeymoon, they've decided to take a 7 day cruise through the Caribbean, visiting Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Cozumel, Mexico.
