Gabrielle attended a summer camp where she later met some of Nicolas’s friends. After having an amazing time at camp, everyone exchanged numbers and planned to see each other again. After a few months passed, some of the guys invited Gabrielle and her friends to a soccer game. Little did she know this was the FCIAC game that could potentially take the team to the state finals and where Gabrielle and Nicolas would meet for the first time. Gabrielle and her friends showed up fashionably late and sat on the sidelines feet away from Nicolas’s family. During the game, Gabrielle whispered to her friends that she thought Nicolas was the cutest. At the end of the game, the team invited Gabrielle and her friends to an after-party to celebrate the win! When they showed up at the party, Gabrielle was introduced to Nicolas’s whole family, but still no Nicolas! Later on, in the evening Nicolas introduced himself to Gabrielle, and needless to say the connection was instant. After the celebration, they exchanged numbers in hopes to see each other again. That very night Nicolas reached out to see Gabrielle again the next day, and the rest is history.

Since that day in 2013, from CT to FL, Gabrielle and Nicolas always prioritized their genuine love for each other and created a bond that is inseparable. After dating for 8 years, Gabrielle was awaiting the day that Nicolas would “pop the question”. Little did she know, he had been working on it behind the scenes with her family. He planned to propose during her favorite time of year, at one of their favorite cities they used to visit in college. On December, 18th 2020 Nicolas proposed to Gabrielle in St. Augustine Florida. She, barely breathing, said yes!
