THE FUTURE DORNS

Mitch and Gabrielle's love story started with WS Packaging, where Mitch and Gabrielle's father Dave worked. Spotting a picture of Dave's family, Mitch took notice of Dave's blonde daughter. Playful banter and jokes ensued between Dave and Mitch throughout the summer. On Mitch's last day, he left a note in Dave's lunch box expressing interest in Gabrielle. Dave, being protective, tore up the note. Undeterred, Mitch later messaged Gabrielle on Facebook. Despite the initial setback, they planned their first date during Dave's business trip, visiting a haunted house and dinner at Applebee’s. Today, Dave loves Mitch like his own son. Their love withstood the test of long distance as Gabrielle went to UW Oshkosh and Mitch went to UW Madison. They frequently went to Badger games, out to the bars, and numerous outdoor adventures. Despite the distance, their love was strong. Eight years later, they're still happily together.

Mitch proposed to Gabrielle in Hiles, WI. What seemed like an ordinary day going out to check the bear baits, turned into one of the most memorable days of their lives. Mitch proposed over a bear bait, and secretly recorded the entire proposal. That day the trail cams weren't used for the bears, but instead captured photos of Mitch asking Gabrielle to marry him! Some of the couple's favorite things to do together include: fishing, hunting, boating, going on nature walks, trapping, date nights trying local bars and restaurants, time with family and friends, going to sports events, campfires, live music and concerts, and festivals. We eagerly anticipate sharing the love, joy, and excitement with you as we celebrate our special day!
