An old middle school was converted into quite the place for beer connoisseurs. Several micro breweries, gastropubs, coffee shops, and event spaces call Campus 805 home. It is one of our favorite places to hang out and get some good brews and good food.
Located across from the Hampton Inn/Home2 Suites, this outdoor strip mall hosts a myriad of restaurants and upscale shopping. Places of interest include: P.F. Chang's, Apple, Cheesecake Factory, Cinemark Movie Theatre, Cafe 153, and more.
An old indoor mall has been transformed into this now up-and-coming area complete with The Camp where food trucks, coffee, drinks and outdoor concerts happen as well as shopping and dining in the surrounding area. Places of interest include Wahlburgers, Top Golf, Dave & Busters, & REI.
Revitalized in the last several years, the downtown area has lots of local small shops, pubs, and dining locales to enjoy among the urban backdrop of the city. Big Spring Park is just next door with a gorgeous outdoor walking space to explore.
An old shoe factory is now one of the largest spaces in the country for resident artists to create and display their work. With its Bohemian feel, it has several local food spots and galleries and almost always has some kind of event going on.
Just down the way from Campus 805, built on the bones of the century-old Martin Stove Factory, the reimagined Stovehouse features plenty of outdoor space to congregate, multiple stages for live music, a diverse selection of eats and treats, and Gas Light Alley, an eclectic venue for retail shopping. Places to check out are Taqueria El Cazador, Kamado Ramen, Oh Crepe!, and Charlie Fosters.
