Should I rent a car?

We would advise against renting one since parking is very difficult in Positano.

When should I book my travel and lodging?

Answer

Please book early (as soon as possible!) since Positano is a small village and has limited availability. We do not recommend waiting until 2024 to book your hotel.

When should I plan on arriving to Positano?

Answer

Please plan on arriving by Wednesday, May 29th if you wish to attend our Welcome Party. You can see the schedule of events on the "Schedule" section of the site

Should I rent an Air BNB rather than a hotel?

Answer

Air BNB has options to rent in Positano. Be weary that some locations state they are in Positano, but they are not as accessible to the town's center by walking. Be sure to ask for walking distance to the town and Church of Santa Maria Assunta for a good estimation of how close the Air BNB is

How to get to your wedding venue?

Answer

We will be getting married in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Positano. This is in the town's center. Afterwards, our reception is at a venue that is a 5 minute walk from the Church.

What is the Beach Club Attire?

Answer

Although Positano is a beach resort town, it is not advisable not to walk around town in your bathing suits unless fully covered with a fun coverup and or dress. Beach clubs have changing rooms.

No, either pay with Euros and or credit card.

The wedding invitation states "Summer Cocktail Attire "-- What does that mean?

Answer

It's a balance between elegant, and polished and pared down formal. Women: Opt for Midi, Maxi or Knee length Semi Formal Dress. Men: Opt for Summer Suit or Lightweight Sport Coat, dress shirt, dress pants with or without tie. Dress shoes or Drivers.

The Welcome Aperitivo Party states "Dressy Casual". What does that mean?

Positano is fashionable and sophisticated. Fun Summer Outfits! Women: Slip Dresses, Maxi Dresses. Dressy skirt and top or jumpsuit. No jeans, shorts or sneakers. Men: Dress Shirts or Linen Shirts paired with dressy pants or dress shorts. With or without a light weight Summer Sport Coat. No jeans. No sneakers.

What kind of shoes should I wear for the wedding?

Answer

Since Positano has steep hills and many steps depending on where you lodge and cobblestones. It is advisable to plan accordingly. Women: Block Heel Sandals Men: Driving Shoes or Loafers Style Shoes

What should I wear for the Church Ceremony?

Answer

Since this is a Catholic Ceremony, must be appropriately dressed. Women's shoulders must be covered.
