Things To Do

We're overjoyed for you to join us in San Diego. Here are some places we find ourselves going back to again and again. San Diego is known for Mexican food, Italian food, and poke in that order. There are many beautiful hikes in and around San Diego, and our favorite places to stroll around are Birdrock and La Jolla.

Torrey Pines State Reserve Hike

12600 N Torrey Pines Rd, La Jolla, CA 92037

Beautiful and easy/moderate hike down to Black's Beach. Twelve dollar fee per car driving in

San Diego Zoo

2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101

We've been a few times. Made famous by Melman in Mada "ass" car, it's a very fun zoo. Great for families and kids

Oscars Mexican Seafood

746 Emerald Street, San Diego, CA 92109

The best seafood tacos we've had. Amazing ceviche too.

Liberty Public Market

2820 Historic Decatur Road, San Diego, CA 92106

Market with unique food stalls, coffee and a great bottle shop. We've grabbed a bite here often when we don't want to eat the same type of food. Prepare for indecision.

Children's Pool La Jolla

834 Coast South Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92037

Great place to get close and see the local harbor seals and their pups. A very short walk from downtown La Jolla botqiues, shops, restauraunts, and coffee shops.

La Jolla Open Aire Farmers Market

7335 Girard Avenue, San Diego, CA 92037

Open from 9-1 on Sunday's. An exceptional farmers market with local vendors. Try the mexcian chocolate almond butter which Kip eats by the pound.

Old house converted to beach bar with a big patio stepping down into the sand. No official closing time. Packed shoulder to shoulder for the sunset then empty thirty minutes later.
