Kaylan and Joey met at UCSD and quickly became some of each other’s first friends. From volleyball teammates, to roommates, to fraternity life, to campus ministry, to working at Hume Lake, the two have shared countless adventures over the years. Joey was head of the U.S. aerospace mouse flight program and selected the three blind mice to fly an F-16 aircraft. (Please be mindful not to mention this as it is still a sore subject).
Peyton Bever
Maid of Honor
Gabi and Peyton met in the bathroom of their elementary school in 2nd grade and became inseparable for over a decade growing up together in Fresno. Through every stage of life, late-night talks, spontaneous adventures, heartbreaks, celebrations, and everything in between, Peyton has remained one of Gabi’s dearest friends. Peyton used to serve in the Civil War Reenactment community until being asked to leave for “overcommitting to the role.”
Trevor Tripp

Trevor and Kaylan met while working at Hume Lake, spending multiple summers and winters working together. Trevor is one of the infamous founding members of the Father Squad and was intricate in the great Blob heist of 2022. The two are now roommates in San Diego. Trevor disappeared for 14 months after attempting to map every Cracker Barrel in America.
Taylor Musick
Maid of Honor
Taylor and Gabi became friends shortly after high school, but their friendship truly took off when they moved to San Diego together. From coffee shops and beach days to ministry and engagement season, they’ve walked through so much life side by side. Taylor briefly worked as a Pomeranian dog sledding tour guide on the northern coast of Nunavut before returning to civilization.
Alex Roldan

Kaylan and Alex met while lifeguarding at Hume Lake and quickly bonded over sports and anime. Alex is one of the infamous founding members of the Father Squad and was intricate in the great Blob heist of 2022. Despite living far apart, they’ve continued traveling mighty distances to visit one another over the years. Alex has spent several years training carrier pigeons to deliver messages across the Midwest United States.
Briana Moss

Briana is Gabi’s oldest sister, first role model, built-in best friend, and lifelong confidant. She’s the person Gabi can always turn to no matter what life brings, and their bond has only grown stronger through the years. Briana also took second in the Iowa state slam poetry world competition with over 237 competitors. The most in competition history!
Ryan Lasiter

Kaylan and Lassie met at Hume Lake and quickly bonded over spikeball, lake swims, and workouts. These days, most of their time together revolves around beach days and staying active in San Diego. Lassie secretly trained dolphins for an underground beach volleyball league.
Grace Giorgi
Bridesmaid
Grace and Gabi first met at Hume Lake, but it wasn’t until moving to San Diego that their friendship truly flourished. Through ministry, long conversations, and constant encouragement, they’ve become steady rocks in each other’s lives. Grace formerly provided atmospheric background screaming for student horror films as a primary source of income. She now works in sales.
Philip "Flipper" Mulligan

Kaylan and Flipper met while serving as Lead Counselors at Hume Lake, where they spent their days doing high school ministry and searching the Sequoias for bears. Their friendship has been fueled by equal parts encouraging each other in their faith, and trying to convince the other to move closer. Flipper previously worked as a wilderness stunt double for low-budget survival documentaries.
Carlee Nesom
Bridesmaid
Gabi and Carlee became friends after meeting as roommates when Carlee moved from Oklahoma to San Diego. Between endless card games, coffee shop visits, and shared music recommendations, they’ve made the most of their time living in the same state. Carlee was once legally recognized as the temporary mayor of a small town in Nebraska after winning a pie-eating contest.
Jack Sheridan

Kaylan and Jack met while playing Assassin through Cru at University of California San Diego and quickly bonded over games, movies, and going on midnight runs to Vallartas. They're friendship has evolved to being roommates, lovers of philosophical debates, and desk mates in late night work grinds. Jack also allegedly spent several years as an international jewel thief operating exclusively through the United Arab Emirates.

Gabi met Kayla through pure destiny… and technically her bloodline. After many years of expertly conducted Instagram stalking, Gabi is thrilled to officially gain her future sister. Kayla spent three consecutive summers professionally naming paint colors for a luxury wallpaper company.
Connor Price

Kaylan and Connor met playing volleyball at University of California San Diego and have since become longtime roommates, gym partners, and Fortnite teammates. Whether competing on the court, binging an entire anime, or surfing in OB, they’ve spent years keeping life entertaining. Connor also once survived 11 straight days inside of a Costco living exclusively off Costco samples.
