Maid of Honor
Julia and Abbie forged their bond in the flames of undergraduate biochemistry. They are still on fire and everything hurts. The good news is Abbie will respond "yes" when you ask "is anyone a doctor in here!?" in a few years. So will Julia, but she won't be able to do anything medically helpful about it.
Marissa
Maid of Honor
Elle's best friend. Met in college as randomly placed roommates and then found out they were both in the Social Work program. And thus, a lifelong love was formed. Ask us about our Olympic ski jump. Still arguing over how to say "acai". Marissa stopped being vegan for the cocktail hour options at this wedding.
Mike
Best Man
Elle's brother. Also goes by Uncle Mike to the Dogs of Honor (see below). Mike runs really fast and single handedly employs the entire Progresso Soup factory. Have you seen Sinister? If you haven't, we promise Mike will make sure you do. Julia and Mike are like two peas in a pod, except neither of them like peas so use your imagination and make it something like chicken fingers or steak.
Noel
Bridesmaid
Noel is Elle’s cousin but really always feels like her cool older sister. They grew up together and then went to Marist together. Elle takes pride in having introduced Noel to sushi. Ask us about our princess wands or Nike hats or the "cova dish" or the time we ended up in France by accident.
Joe
Julia's Wedding Attendant
Joe and Julia have enjoyed sharing a letter in their first names since 2008. Since then, they've discovered other things they enjoy together such as belting angsty tunes, Phamous Phil's BBQ, record store day, record store night, and propane. While eating tacos with Joe, Julia once paid 300% more for hot sauce she thought was authentic only to find out it could be found at major grocery stores nationwide. Joe is the melodica to Julia’s ukulele in every sense, and if you listen carefully enough during a full blood moon on January 31st, you just might hear them jamming.
Leah
Bridesmaid
Elle & Leah live parallel lives on different coasts and are true soulmates. Leah is Elle's gluten-free guru, sane friend, and Yossl partner in crime. Leah is equally as inspiring in her social justice fortitude and in her ability to get Elle to eat more gf sweet treats. She's getting married/got married (depending on when you're reading this) in September. Yay for Sam! Also, cousins.
Christina
Julia's Wedding Attendant
Julia's big sister since 1992. Christina guided Julia in all things “hip” by introducing her to pogs, Math Blaster, Clarissa Explains It All, tomagotchi, and the summer-time classic Crazy Daisy. More recently, Christina has become a recipe developer crafting sugar cookie mosque luminaries (picture an edible tea light holder) and thematic Toy Story cakes for her little ones. Now almost 30 years later, the sisters have sadly realized that pogs are no longer “totally tubular, dude.” They take comfort in knowing that baking, much like sisterhood, will never go out of style.
Michelle

Michelle is both Elle’s cousin and her on-call medical consult for all things body related. Also has been Elle's personal esthetician, therapist, nutritionist, and ethics review board. And now they’re neighbors! She enjoys tortilla soup, the air fryer, and “real” tortilla chips. Dog's name is Macy.
Emily
Officiant
Last names include LiftsWeights and TieDyes (but really, check out her tie-dying business). Emily has a cat named Remy and a living room. Somehow, this just wasn't enough - so she made Remy her own living room within that living room. Emily can be found reading books that she thinks will be good and then they aren't, making and then delivering latkes to the entire neighborhood, and making us laugh until it's painful.
Frank

Original family pup. Adjusting to older brotherhood. 4/10 would not recommend but nobody asked him and it turns out he does love his sister. Almost 7 years old. Rescue. Prefers pepperoni and carrots over a “dog treat” any day. Can find him sleeping and napping and then sleeping again. Goes by many names: Pone. Poneald. Poneathan. Poneathan Taylor Thomas (PTT). 'nathan. Scallion. Scallion man. Chicken. Chickaronathan. Chicken Run. Will respond to none of the above.
Flora
Dog of Honor
Newest member of the family. Happiest girl alive. Ball of energy and sunshine. Can find her at the dog park making friends or trying to get her brother Frank to play with her. Rescue dog from Georgia. Lover of chewing her harness and greeting any human or any animal she can find. Answers to Flora Lou (aka Lorna Doone cookie), Flo, Flo Bird, Doonus, and Doonus Balloonus.
