Don't be intimidated when you first walk in. It's seat-yourself so nab a table, start yourself a tab at either the bar or food service, order beer at the bar and food at the service counter on the other end. They boast one of the best burgers around, fresh cut fries, and a large variety of local beer on tap.

Mykel's Restaurant
Higher priced dinner menu but they deliver gourmet Alaskan dishes. Reasonably priced and delicious lunch menu. Summer hours: (June through September) 11:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday 11:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Stone fired personal-sized pizzas and generous dinner salads. They also offer a variety of house-made brews and local berry wines.
