Gab & Josh met in high school, but kept their distance... some might say they were "enemies", or maybe the passion was just too much to handle! During their freshman year of college, Josh and Gab rekindled at their best friend Mirandas 19th birthday in Orlando, where Josh so kindly drove Gab home after a night on the town. The sparks were there, but Gab had to leave the next day to go back to Tallahassee. Just a few months later, the pair met back up during a summer party where they stayed up talking until the sunrise. After that night, they spent the rest of that summer going on dates around Melbourne before they'd have to go their separate ways back to college. When the fall came, they decided to try long distance at the young age of 19. After many trips back and forth, Gab (finally) decided to transfer to UCF for the last two years of school. During their time together at UCF, they joined friend groups and created the most fun college memories as a couple, living just a few minutes from each other. After college, Gab moved back home to go to nursing school and Josh began his career down in Ft. Lauderdale. After trying to spend a few months apart, they both realized they were willing to sacrifice anything, including any distance, to be together. After a few years, and many trips later, the pair decided to quit both their jobs and create a life in St. Pete in order to be together. Just a few weeks into living together, they adopted their second dog, Tommy, to help keep Poppy company. Since then, they've traveled the world together, shared many delicious meals, and created the best memories in their favorite city with their little family. After 8 years together, Josh proposed to Gab during a dreamy graduation trip to Switzerland. And well.... the rest is history! See ya in Cabo! ☀️
