Let us cut straight to it... we met on a dating app called "Bumble". With both of us being "new" to the larger than life, city slicker living we took the dating app plunge. While neither of us taking it too seriously and not knowing each other even existed, the stars were aligning in our favor. It started out as a swift and quick swipe right that caught us at "hello". Instantly, the flirty little messages back and forth, lead into exchanging phone numbers. Finally, after a month of sharing witty jokes, the occasional "feel good selfie" and love of sports, food, and family, came the big FIRST DATE. Both of us swear we will never forget the instant *sigh of relief when our eyes caught one another. In that moment, everything seemed to be exactly how it was supposed to be... perfect. Our first date lasted about 4 hours which felt like 5 min. It was clear our souls were no strangers and something bigger than the two of us had begun. Leaving each other that night was oddly difficult. But, with our cheeks sore from smiling, both of us knew it wouldn’t be the last. Every day after that we both had one priority, to see each other. Soon after, our dates would turn into weekend stays, grocery shopping together and TWO permanent toothbrush spaces. We now own a house together that we gratefully and lovingly call HOME.
