How to get there

The Wedding Website of Jason Burns and Gabrielle Esbeck
Getting to Bordeaux Even with no direct U.S. flights, reaching Bordeaux is easy. Fly into a major European hub, then take a short flight (1–2 hours) to Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (BOD) via Amsterdam (KLM), Barcelona (Vueling), Berlin/Brussels/Prague (easyJet), Dublin (Aer Lingus), London (British Airways, easyJet), Madrid (Iberia, Volotea), or Rome (easyJet, Volotea, Wizz Air) From Paris, the TGV train takes two hours from Gare Montparnasse to Bordeaux Saint-Jean. Reaching Presqu'île du Cap Ferret from Bordeaux By Car (recommended) – One hour from Bordeaux. Rentals available at the airport or train station. By Train + Boat – Train to Arcachon or Facture-Biganos (45 min), then a scenic 30-minute boat across the bay (summer only). By Bus – Seasonal service available. Getting Around If you don't have a car, bicycles and local buses are available for exploring the area. Need Help Planning? We are happy to assist. Please reach out!
