Our story begins on April 2nd, when our hero downloaded an app, not quite sure what he would find. He wrote a quick bio about his interests and posted some goofy pictures that featured his gorgeous blue eyes. Not far away and on the same day, our heroine swooned for those eyes and sent him a coy hello. He asked her to dinner, they met three days later on April 5th at the saloon in Ruston. She wore her camo leggings and he showed up in cowboy boots. They had dinner, got caught in the rain walking on the boardwalk, and something told her that she could not let the night end so soon. She took him on a tour of her construction project and ended the night with beers and board games at the local brewery. They went on a hike the very next day and walked hand in hand along the river. He deleted the app, and did the one thing he could think of to immediately win her heart- buying their first relationship lego they would build together: a Star Wars TIE fighter. One week after their first date (and several other dates later) She went out on a limb and took him with her to Leavenworth for a rafting trip. They enjoyed the river, cider tasting in little Bavaria, and their first kiss at the top of the scenic hike to the Peshastin Pinnacles. And, along a drive home full of conversations on financial planning, values, beliefs, our hero realized he had quickly fallen in love. Our heroine wasnt far behind, and on April 30 they confessed this joy to eachother. Love like this doesn't happen everyday. He proposed on June 15 on the front of the ferry to Victoria, just as they were arriving in the harbor. She quickly said "yes!" for fear he might drop that beautiful ring! 6 months to the day of thay first special kiss, they'll be walking down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. Ian Schwartz, followed by a honeymoon to Bavaria (the real thing this time!) , sipping swiss hot chocolate as they ride gondolas and hike through the alps!!
