FAQs

Question

Can I stay at the wedding venue?

Answer

The wedding venue cabins and yurts are reserved for the bridal party at this time so we can all be onsite for the rehearsal, and setting up and getting ready for the big day. However, if people in the bridal party choose alternative accommodations, spots onsite will open up and I will contact those looking for onsite accommodations to let them know. Tent sites are available to all wedding guests if you’d prefer to camp instead of book a hotel. Firewood is provided. Also - please be aware only one cabin has a bathroom, and all the cabins are meant for multiple guests to share (we will put families together of course, we will reach out to the bridal party with a list of cabins and confirm who they’d like to bunk with). The other cabins have nice full bathrooms just outside of them including showers that we all share. It’s not required to stay onsite if you’re in the bridal party, just a free option if people want. Please check the travel page for other accommodations near the retreat.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

It is a 45 acre retreat located at the end of a dirt road, private and out in nature. (But with nice, modern bathrooms and facilities). Please bring bug spray, suntan lotion, hats, umbrellas, and comfortable shoes for walking in grass. If you’re in the bridal party and staying onsite, please bring food and drinks for meals/snacks. Food is provided only for rehearsal dinner Friday night, and the wedding dinner and apps on Saturday. There is no ice machine onsite but the cabins have refrigerators. If you’re a wedding guest staying onsite but not in the bridal party, please bring food and drinks, as food will only be provided during the wedding on Saturday. Thanks!
