Gabrielle and Griffin have known each other since they were 10 and 11 years old through mutual family friends. Griffin vividly remembers Gabrielle strolling into the Zmolek backyard with basketball shorts on that went past her knees, a cut off tank top and thinking to himself "woahhhhh". They were reconnected during the COVID era, though who reached out to who first is still up for debate.. They met up, drank beers the size of their heads and "the rest was history".
