We’re getting married!

Dante and Gabbi first met at a 4th of July party at Dante's college house that he was throwing for his coworkers—they were both working at a restaurant named Figlio (different locations, same restaurant fame), but had never actually worked a shift together. Dante likes to joke that she hated him after that first meeting (spoiler alert: she didn't) but thanks to mutual friends and the fact that they both unexpectly moved onto the same street a few months later, they kept running into each other. The first time they hung out without the rest of their Figlio friends happened when his laptop died and he had an assignment due in a couple of hours. Lucky for him she had already finished all her homework for the night and her house was on the way to the library, so she offered to let him finish his submission on her computer instead of making the trek across campus. That accidental hangout turned into a lot more—game nights, weird jokes, staying up late (or falling asleep on the couch) watching Parks and Rec, and a friendship that slowly grew into something better. About a year later, they went on their first date, and have been together ever since! These days, they are living in Columbus, OH with their dog [child] named Doobert. Their favorite activities to do together include going on walks, cooking, hanging out with their friends, smothering Doobs with all the love, and filling their home with laughter.
