How do I RSVP

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above at any time once the invitations have been sent. We will include a paper RSVP with the invite if you prefer to mail your RSVP back to us!

What if I dont RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by October 1st, you will be marked as "Not Attending." We would love to celebrate with you however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. (This means you are not allowed to show up on our special day. there will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you )

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate " will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd attending but find that you will not make it, please notify Gabrielle or Cody as soon as you are aware.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be detailed on your invitation/online when you RSVP.

When should we arrive at the venue?

Answer

Since there will be transportation from parking to the venue, we ask that all guests arrive at least 45 minutes before ceremony time, which is 4:00p.m. This ensures that guests will have some time to mingle and get seated. Please note that the venue has golf carts to transport guests from the parking lot to the ceremony site, so if you are driving please make sure to leave a little earlier.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you, so get ready to celebrate!

Is the Venue indoors or Outdoors ?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors ( Weather Permitting). The reception will be indoors.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Attire is Cocktail and we ask please no jeans be worn. Ladies, please keep in mind that the venue has grass and gravel paths when making your shoe selection.

Do Ride-share apps Pick up from this venue?

Answer

The common rideshare apps (Uber/Lift ) will likely be hard to use at this venue as Mars Hill does not get a lot of traffic. However, we've reached out to a couple of local cab companies that we recommend booking rides with: AVL Ride is a company based in Asheville. They have their own app you can download to your smartphone called AVL Ride. You may also book by calling AVL Rides' phone number: (828) 333-1976. A-Weaverville is a traditional cab company and their phone number is (828) 575-8065.

Is there Parking for the Ceremony/ Reception?

Answer

There is plenty of venue parking available. Please park in the front right field (located right behind the Cottage), there will be a parking attendant on site to guide you. The venue provides transportation to the ceremony site.
