This is such a cool spot in Wilmington, lots of cute little shops in colorful shipping containers, plus they have food like Korean corn dogs, empanadas, and more. Perfect for wandering, grabbing a bite, and just soaking up the artsy vibe.
Savorez 🍴
We’re a fan of this place! Latin inspired dishes with a modern twist. The restaurant pretty small in size so not recommended for large parties but worth the visit!
Wrightsville Beach 🌊
Otherwise known as “cousins beach” from “The Summer I Turned Pretty”. This beach is beautiful and one of my favorites!
Battleship North Carolina ⚓️
A World War II-era battleship turned museum. Really cool spot if you love history. You get to climb down and explore the battleship on a self guided tour! (It is a lot of walking and climbing up and down steps so keep that in mind if you decide to visit and wear comfy shoes!)
Ghost Walk of Old Wilmington 🏴☠️👻
This is a walking tour through downtown Wilmington. If you are arriving into town early or staying a couple of days after the wedding and you love history and spooky season, this is the tour for you! 👻 fun fact: Wilmington is known for its history of Pirates! 🏴☠️ Book your tickets on the website!
Airlie Gardens 🌼
This is a bit further away from the downtown area but worth it if you have a car and don’t mind driving! It’s a 67-acre public garden and it’s absolutely beautiful, a must do on a sunny day and if you love nature!
Quanto Basta: Italian Eatery & Wine Bar 🍝
One of our favorite Italian restaurants! Definitely recommend if you love Italian food and need a spot to go to for Dinner! I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation because this place can get pretty busy!
The Husk 🍻🏈
This is the known as the “unofficial official New York Jets bar” and if you know Chad well, you know how much of a Jets fan he is! This is a cool casual hangout spot if you want to grab a drink, play some pool or watch a game on TV!
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot🥃🍹
This place has such a cool vibe! It’s a must if you like crafted cocktails, whiskey and a vintage-y lounge type of setting.
Tacobaby 🌮
A cool modern Mexican inspired spot, great for a quick lunch if you love taco’s and an artsy atmosphere! It’s a veteran owned restaurant!
Dram Yard 🍽️🍹
Although we haven’t been here yet, it’s on our list! We have heard lots of good things about this spot!
The Blind Elephant 🐘🍸
Great for if you are staying the entire weekend in Wilmington and if you love a vintage cocktail bar atmosphere! This is a “members only” speakeasy but is only $5 to become a member. All you have to do is show them your ID! More info on the website of course :)
The Exit Games | Escape Room Wilmington 🪄
Hands down the best escape room we have been to, so far! The staff there is awesome! Our favorite is the White Rabbit room!
Mayfaire Town Center 🛍️ 🍿
Further away from downtown Wilmington but great if you have access to transportation and would like to go shopping! 🛍️ Plus restaurants, Dave & Busters, Regal Movie Theater & more!
