Things change every month so please look at our Travel and COVID tab on this website for the most up-to-date information.
We reserved a limited amount of rooms all double beds. They are under the name Rodriguez/Serushan Wedding we reserved options for 2 nights or 1 night. Apparently, rooms in the hotel are going fast, always check the hotel website because the website has more availability than what the front desk at the hotel will tell you. Expedia and Costco travel also have packages.
No worries, while the native language is Spanish the majority of the islanders know enough English to help or point you in the right direction.
While public transportation does exist, I do not recommend it. Uber's and taxi are the way to go. Also, keep an eye on the website for information on organized transportation by Bride and Groom.
Take your wallet out and use your American Dollars! Puerto Rico uses U.S. currency so other than telling your credit card that you are traveling, no need to do anything.
It's the tropics, so you can wear shorts and sandals year around. Pack some beach attire and a lot of sunscreen. Seriously the sun really likes our small island so avoid being a lobster in your pictures and sunscreen it up. It also rains every day somewhere on the island so a small umbrella is not a bad idea.
Absolutely not. The area where the wedding is held is full of resorts and small hotels. You can even rent a villa or a house through Vrbo or Airbnb and share with some friends. Everywhere in the area of (Rio Grande, Fajardo, Luquillo), you can Uber or taxi to the wedding.
If you decide to visit before or stay after the wedding stay in the San Juan area, it has more accommodation options at different prices and you can easily connect to different activities. Heads up, when locals say San Juan they mean a pretty big area encompassing a couple of cities, not just the capital. Other areas to stay at in the San Juan area are Old San Juan, Condado, Ocean Park, Isla Verde. * Taxis or Ubers from the Wedding to the San Juan area are available but they may be pricier at night. On the night of the wedding try to stay near the wedding venue if possible.
Yes!!! It's encouraged if you want to explore the island. If you just want to relax in the resort or stay in the San Juan area then you don't really need it. But the sooner you reserve the car the better $ you get.
