Where is the venue?
Answer
The venue is called Little Flower Barn and the address is 565 N. Coldwater Road, Lake Isabella, Michigan 48893. The ceremony and reception areas are located at the same address.
Question
What time does the ceremony start?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 pm. Please arrive to the venue early enough to take your seat. Anyone who arrives late must wait at the pavilion (where cocktail hour will be held) until the end of the ceremony.

Should I rent a car?
Answer
Definitely! If you are traveling from out of state for our wedding (firstly, THANK YOU!) - you will want to rent a car. I recommend using the app Turo to do so as it is convenient and more affordable than other car rental services. Our venue is in rural Michigan so there is no public transport or walkability. I also recommend carpooling with others you know are attending and assigning a designated driver!

How do I RSVP?
Answer
RSVP by clicking on the RSVP page on this website and entering your name. You will be prompted to answer some questions and submit them. Please submit your RSVP by Friday, August 8th. As we need to provide the guest count to our caterer and assign tables/seats in a timely manner, no RSVPs will be accepted after August 8th.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Everyone invited is listed on the RSVP. However, if you have a child not listed on the RSVP please message Gabrielle or Andrew as mistakes do happen! We ask that parents of little ones remain respectful of our quiet ceremony and beautiful venue. Any children whining, fussing, crying, or running around during the ceremony or first dance must be promptly removed from the area by the parent(s). Please be aware there is a large pond onsite!

Can I bring a date?

Our goal is to keep our special day as intimate as possible, so we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes! Please contact Gabrielle with any food allergies or dietary requirements.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We ask that you enjoy our ceremony without the use of cameras or cell phones. We have a professional photographer to capture our ceremony. Photography and videography is encouraged at the reception!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) while our reception will be indoors!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Temperatures in September in Lake Isabella, MI range from 50-72 degrees with a chance of rain. (P.S. Bring bug spray!)

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. For this time of year, long dresses, pantsuits, and suits will be most comfortable. We only ask that shades of white and ivory be avoided.

Should we bring a gift?

Since we are traveling across the country for our wedding, we're going to try to travel lightly! Feel free to check out our "Registry" page. We will have a box for cards at the reception.

Where should we park?
Answer
You will be instructed on where to park immediately upon pulling into the venue driveway. There will be room for everyone to park on-site.

Is Gabrielle changing her last name?
Answer
No, Gabrielle will be keeping her last name. She will continue to go by Ms. Carpentier after the wedding.
