Although Gabby and Andrew attended the same high school, their paths never really crossed until 2011 (junior year) during the annual high school Powder Puff football game. Traditionally, the junior girls would play against the senior girls in a game of flag football, while the school’s football team coached the respective girls’ teams (which Andrew was a part of). Gabby immediately caught Andrew's eye and he began calling her his ‘secret weapon’. Although they lost the game that night, Andrew managed to get Gabby’s number. After that night they became friends, talking every night for months until Andrew finally asked Gabby to be his girlfriend in July 2012. Since then they haven't looked back - growing up together and experiencing so much, including graduating high school, traveling to New Zealand, graduating college, moving to a new city, starting careers, and so much more.

On November 4, 2018, on Gabby’s birthday, Andrew surprised her by proposing at the Bridgeton House on the Delaware River. What Gabby thought was a birthday surprise turned into a room at the bed and breakfast covered in pictures of them accompanied by rose petals, candles, and champagne. Andrew romantically coordinated a custom engagement ring, a room at the bed and breakfast, the proposal decorations, and family and friends to celebrate at a restaurant after. It was one of the most exciting and happy days of their lives. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you on October 2, 2021, nearly 10 years since our love story began!
