Alex will say his love for Gabrielle started on the very day he met her.  The year was 2011.  It was Gabrielle's first year at Miami University and Alex's second.  Eleven years of friendship and the last five years (& counting!) of love... this love story has roots as strong as the tallest Sycamore tree with an unfailing love.

Things have a way of 'working out'

How We Met

Working with Gabrielle's sister Samantha, Alex secured permission from Mark and Catherine during a covert trip to Columbus in December of 2021. With Gabrielle kept in the dark, plans began to take shape for a Christmas Eve 2021 proposal at the Voris Family home in Hilliard, OH. With the preparations for midnight mass and Christmas Eve dinner in place, Alex proposed under the cover of the backyard Christmas lights and Christmas trees. Gabrielle said "YES!" and the rest they say is, history. Celebrations and champagne aplenty that evening, we were well on our way to beginning our marriage story.
