FAQs

If you have additional questions not included in this list, please contact the bride and groom at their wedding email (stokedtobeashedrow2024@gmail.com)
Question

Can I use my phone during the ceremony for pictures?

Answer

We are paying a photographer to capture the precious moments of our ceremony, which we will be happy to share with you once those moments are published. Please wait to take photos on your personal devices until after the priest has pronounced us "Mr. and Mrs. Shedrow". ****For safety and courtesy reasons, do not block the central aisle.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Children are more than welcome, so please include them as your guests in the RSVP. ***Please include on your RSVP whether or not your children (under the age of 12) will eat the entree selections or if they will need a child's dinner.

Question

Will transportation be provided to the venues?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide transportation to the venues. Please keep this in mind as the ceremony will take place during the winter season.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Feel free to bring your significant other, but make sure you include them in the RSVP. We will not have space/food for anyone who has not been named on your RSVP before the deadline.

Question

Can I RSVP after the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is October 1, 2024. Please remember the date listed as the RSVP deadline is important so we have a proper indicator of how many people will attend. RSVPs must be completed before the deadline in order to give the venues an accurate guest count (especially the food and drink vendors). **If you RSVP after the deadline, we will not be able to adjust our guest count to include you and your guests.

Question

Will there be a dress code?

Answer

Because the ceremony will be taking place in a church, we are asking guests to please dress in "semi formal" attire. Also, please remember the ceremony will take place in December, so plan accordingly to keep you warm when walking outside. When the supper and dessert portions of the reception are over, feel free to change into something more comfortable so you can show off your best moves when the dancing starts.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

If you or one of your guests has any dietary restrictions/allergies, please email the bride and groom at their wedding email (StokedToBeAShedrow2024@gmail.com) so they can make a note of your needs for the food and drink vendors.

Question

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

We would like to remind our guests that the ceremony will take place in the middle of the winter holiday season. Because of this, your presence is a present enough; but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Our entree selections are a choice between chicken and steak. A vegetarian option of Eggplant Parmesan is available ONLY BY REQUEST on the RSVP. Please include on your RSVP whether or not your children (under the age of 12) will eat the entree selections or if they will need a child's dinner.

Question

Will there by elevator access?

Answer

The ceremony takes place on the second level of the Ancilla Domini Chapel building, so there is elevator access just to the left of the main entrance. The reception venue is all one level, so there is no elevator access.

Question

What's the best way to contact you if I have additional questions?

Answer

You can contact us at our wedding email (StokedToBeAShedrow2024@gmail.com) up until December 13th. During the weekend of the wedding (December 13-15), please contact Laura Heckaman at 574-855-7916 as she is coordinating our wedding so the Bridal Party can dedicate focus on helping each other get ready for the weekend's festivities. Messages and phone calls to the Bride & Groom between December 13th and 14th will not be answered until the afternoon of December 15th, so the Bride & Groom may focus their attention on each other.

Question

Will there by alcohol?

Answer

There will be alcohol served, as well as non-alcoholic options. Feel free to purchase as many alcoholic drinks as you would like. *****Please drink responsibly since this is a family-centered event and remember how you’re getting home from the reception.*****
