How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by... by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If your invitation is made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" or says "+1" then yes ⏤ we'd love for them to join! Thank you for understanding!

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and indicate "NOT Attending" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you cannot make it, please notify...

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! So, we are requesting that all of our guests join us in beach formal/semi-formal attire. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors in a sandy/grassy area. Ladies, please keep this in mind when choosing your heels! The "Dress Code" section can be found in the menu above.

Are there any colors I should avoid on the day of the wedding?

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride ⏤ whites, ivories, and creams.

All of my beautiful bridesmaids will be wearing shades of sage green and soft pink.

Is the resort all-inclusive?

Yes, yayyy! Rates include: ⏤ All snacks/meals/drinks (alcoholic beverages too) ⏤ Non-motorized water sports and waterpark ⏤ Day & night entertainment at the resort

How do I book my room?

We have rooms held at group rates available for our guests. Please book with Maggie through our booking site with Destination Weddings.

What is required to book my room?

Answer

There is a deposit of $50 per person to hold your room or $100 a room. Any travel insurance you purchase must be paid for at the time of booking.

How long can I book my room for?

Answer

You are more than welcome to stay as long as you like, but please arrive at least 1 day before the wedding date. The minimum night stay is 3 nights.

What if I find lower prices on a different website?

Answer

We have worked closely with Maggie and the resort to secure and maintain group rates that will not change during our planning process. If you find a lower price, please reach out to Maggie at melles@destinationweddings.com to let her know, and she can attempt to price-match it for you.

What airport will i need to fly into?

Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) PLEASE NOTE: Round-trip airport transfers to and from the PUJ Airport WILL BE included in your reservation.

What is an airport transfer?

Answer

An airport transfer is your transportation to and from the airport (PUJ) to the resort (Dreams or Secrets La Romana).

Does the price on Destination Weddings include airfare?

Answer

No, it does not. However, flights are typically less expensive when purchased directly from the airline or sites like Expedia. ⏤ You will fly into Punta Cana International Airport ⏤ DO NOT purchase flights until your room is confirmed! ⏤ Please email Maggie your flight details once booked at melles@destinationweddings.com

Why do you need my flight information?

Maggie needs your flight details because roundtrip airport transfers will be added to your booking! Please provide the following details: ⏤ Date of travel ⏤ Airline ⏤ Flight Number ⏤ Time (For both your arrival & departure) EXAMPLE: ARRIVING: 10/25/2025 - DELTA 4321 - 1:00PM DEPARTURE: 10/31/2025 - DELTA 1234 - 5:00PM

Do I need a passport to travel to the wedding?

Answer

YES, you will 100% need to have your passport! Please make sure your passport remains valid and does not expire for at least 6 months after your arrival to Dominican Republic!!!
