Their story began in February 2022 when Gabriella moved to Orlando, Florida, for a six-month internship at Disney World. Not long after arriving, a simple DM sparked a conversation between Gabriella and Vaughn. What started as casual chatting quickly turned into something more as they realized how much they had in common. They were both originally from Indiana, both trying to navigate life in unfamiliar places, and somehow ended up living across the street from each other! Before long, late-night hangouts after work became the norm. They spent hours sitting in cars talking, grabbing food, sharing funny stories, venting about work, and slowly becoming part of each other's everyday lives. Over the next five months, they built a friendship rooted in comfort, trust, and connection. As Gabriella's internship came to an end, she faced a difficult decision: return to Cincinnati to finish school or move to Los Angeles to transfer to USC. Knowing time was running out, Vaughn finally shared how he felt just before Gabriella left. Until that moment, Gabriella had been convinced he only saw her as a friend. During the two weeks they spent apart, it became clear that saying goodbye didn't feel right. So Gabriella returned to Florida, continued school remotely, and decided to see where things might lead. When Vaughn picked Gabriella up from the airport, everything seemed to fall into place. They spent nearly every day together and officially started dating on July 26, 2022. Since then, they have shared late-night drives, sunset views, endless laughter, unwavering support, four different homes, three different states, one adorable cat, and countless adventures along the way. Through every change, one thing has stayed the same: continuing to choose each other every day. And on May 8th, 2026 - they decided to go to the courthouse to continue making that choice forever :) Super excited to celebrate the 1st year of marriage and finally have a wedding celebration with everyone!
