The year before I was about to start High School, my family decided to move from Austin, TX to Dallas, TX. We would visit the DFW area from time to time to look at houses and to find a new home church. One of the churches that we visited was recommended to us by a close family friend, aka Lucas' church. We ended up visiting that church and Lucas and I were introduced to each other by a mutual friend who also attended that church. We started to get to know each other, but I made it VERY clear to him that we were just going to be friends. Two years later we started dating, and four more years later we were engaged, and now we're finally getting married!! Funny how things work out huh?
