What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal or "Dressy Casual": Suits & Gowns are acceptable, but so are khakis and cocktail dresses. The St. Barbara Parish asks guests to acknowledge the venue as the "House of God" when considering attire and no hats are allowed in the church.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

The weather in Santa Barbara in July is pleasantly warm, with average highs of 83°F and lows of 62°F. The ceremony is indoors and the reception venue will have indoor and outdoor areas.

At the latest, please RSVP by June 27, 2024.

Answer

We're very sorry but due to space restraints, we are only able to invite the children of our immediate family to our wedding. We hope you understand and can still join us on our special day.

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down, buffet-style dinner.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

There will be vegetarian options, but please let us know if you have any allergies and we will work with our caterer to accommodate.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be a short gap between the end of the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Feel free to use this time to secure parking at the Cabrillo Pavilion/explore the area.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please try your best to arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony to ensure a parking space and to cause no disruption to the opening sermon.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception venue have designated parking lots.
