What airport is the best to fly in to?

Answer

Honestly, there is no right or wrong answer to this question because we all have our preferences when it comes to airlines and convenience. However, what we can tell you is that Flint Bishop Airport (FNT) will land you 30 minutes outside of Frankenmuth. Detroit (DTW) is about a 2-hour drive north to Frankenmuth not including traffic. Do not hesitate to contact the bride or groom in regards to this! We are here to help!

Do I have to stay in Frankenmuth?

Answer

Of course not! We recommend staying in Frankenmuth so that you are close to all the action, however, if you are planning on renting a vehicle, and would prefer to stay outside of the hustle and bustle then you do have options! Some surrounding cities to type into your hotel search bar include but are not limited to, Birch Run, Saginaw Township, and Bay City.

Can I bring a date?

Elias and Gabriella both come from very LARGE families, and while this is a beautiful thing, it does mean that our guest list has to be very strategic. When you receive your wedding invitation the number of seats that we have reserved in your honor will be indicated on your RSVP card. Thank you for your understanding!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the fact that we have guests coming from several different states, and staying in several different locations, we could not reasonably hire a transportation service for all. The good news is, for those who have decided not to rent a vehicle and are staying in Frankenmuth, your feet will be the only transportation you need! Frankenmuth is best explored on foot, and everything is very centrally located.
