We Are Getting Married!

We met while attending Lassen Community College. Mario was playing his second year of basketball, and Gabi was beginning her first year of volleyball. Before classes started, all of the athletes would hang out in the evening playing games like Catchphrase and hide and seek. It was then during the first hangout that Mario shared he loved Taylor Swift, which started our first conversation. A few weeks later, Mario asked Gabi to be his girlfriend by making her favorite food, buying her favorite flowers, and asking her at Inspiration Point.

On our annual camping trip on the coast with my family, we all hiked up to Wedding Rock to watch the sunset. The view was beautiful, and Anna and Bella had their cameras out to capture the sunset, so I thought. My parents and Grandma Buffy watched the sunset too. Mario and I watched the sunset when he began to share how special our relationship is, sharing memories from the past four and half years together. Then, Mario got down on one knee and asked if I will marry him. Of course, I said yes! After saying what in shock lol. It was so romantic and sweet.
