WE ELOPED!

Colin and Gabby had their first date (thanks to swiping right on Tinder!) in Bloomington, Indiana on February 1st, 2016. The two knew their connection was special right from the start. The couple spent the first few weeks getting to know each other in classic Bloomington fashion: coffee at Soma, beer and pool at the Vid, and, of course, jamming to Rod Tuffcurls & the Benchpress at the Bluebird. Over time, the adventures grew bigger—visiting family across the states, backpacking in the Smokies and Adirondacks, roadtripping through Canada, and exploring Puerto Rico (to name a few!). No matter the destination, Colin and Gabby shared many laughs and MANY games of cribbage. Along the way, the two moved in together and welcomed the best dog ever, Obi, to the family. On July 3rd, 2020, while floating in kayaks along the coast of Lake Michigan, Colin asked Gabby to marry him. Gabby said YES!

This must be a consequence of the pandemic, right? Actually, no! We always envisioned an intimate celebration for our wedding. We are so grateful to family and friends for supporting our decision to elope. Exchanging vows outside of a cabin nestled in the mountains of northern Arizona was a dream come true.
