When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible. The latest we can receive your notification of attendance is by end of day on February 10th, 2024.

Are you registered?

Answer

We received an enormous amount of generosity from our friends and family who attended our Engagement Party. Therefore, we do not need many more essential household items. We created a section on this website, "Registry" where you will find a few remaining items we still need. But, we would be grateful if our guests could contribute to our honeymoon fund or excursions.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal attire. We would love if our guests dressed up with us by wearing your best suit or dress.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space in our venue, our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation and who is listed in your party when you go to RSVP.

I have a food allergy / restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we will be able to accommodate any food allergies or restrictions. There will be an option to let us know when you electronically RSVP. Please add any dietary restrictions in your RSVP so that way we can ensure we can accommodate your request at dinner.

Why wasn't there an option to select my dinner choice when I RSVP'd?

Answer

Once you are at your seat during the reception, a server will come around to your table and you will be able to make your dinner selection on the day of. Please make sure to notify your server of any dietary restrictions you entered when you RSVP'd.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

We plan to have a 30 minute ceremony outside (weather permitting) before moving indoors for the cocktail hour and reception. There will be a coat check inside after the ceremony. The ceremony will be held inside if it is raining, snowing, or too cold.

Are the ceremony and the reception taking place at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be taking place at The Barn at Villa Venezia located at 2278 Goshen Turnpike in Middletown, NY.

When I search "Villa Venezia" two locations show up, which one is it?

Answer

The owners of our venue have 2 different wedding venue locations on Goshen Turnpike. Please make sure you are searching "The Barn at Villa Venezia" to find the correct venue. You can also plug in the address 2278 Goshen Turnpike, Middletown, NY 10941 to ensure you will arrive at the correct venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 p.m. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to pick a seat.

Is there on site parking at your venue?

Answer

Yes! Our venue offers free on site parking for our guests who choose to drive their own vehicle to and from the venue.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks for the entire evening are on us! If you plan on having multiple drinks, we encourage our guests to stay at The Residence Inn overnight. We will provide a complimentary shuttle to and from the venue so all of our guests can drink without worry!

Do you have a room block at a local hotel?

Answer

Yes! Please join us in staying at The Residence Inn by Marriott. We have an excellent group rate discount and shuttle buses to take us to and from the wedding venue. The hotel offers a hot breakfast in the morning and all rooms in our block are King Suites with pull-out sleeper sofas and a kitchen. Please book by February 22, 2024 in order to receive the group rate. Please refer to the "Hotel Block" section on our website for more information and the booking link.

When is the latest I can reserve a hotel room and receive the group rate discount?

Answer

Please book your hotel rooms ASAP. The group rate discount expires on February 22, 2024 or whenever all of the rooms have been reserved; whichever comes first.

What should I do if I reserve a hotel room outside of the hotel block?

Answer

If you reserved a hotel room at The Residence Inn without using our hotel block, please still notify Gabby of your reservation. We are utilizing the hotel list to account for the number of heads on the shuttle bus to and from the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will have transportation for our guests to and from the Residence Inn hotel in Middletown, NY. Please refer to the “Hotel Block” section on our wedding website for more information about booking on our group rate.

What time will the shuttle bus leave the hotel for the ceremony?

Answer

The shuttle bus will leave the hotel at 4pm to bring our guests to the ceremony. The earliest check-in time at The Residence Inn is at 3pm. Please arrive to the hotel almost fully ready for the evening since you will only have one hour to settle into your room before the shuttle leaves.

How much time will I have in my hotel room before the shuttle bus leaves?

Answer

Only 1 hour! If you reserved a room at the Residence Inn, the earliest check in time is at 3 p.m. The shuttle bus will be leaving at 4 p.m. to take our guests to the venue. We strongly recommend you arrive at the hotel almost completely ready that way all you have to do is change into your outfit for the wedding.

What time does the shuttle bus take us back to the hotel?

Answer

There will be 2 rounds of shuttle to take us back to the hotel. The first shuttle will leave the venue at 9:45 p.m. and the second shuttle will leave the venue at 10:15 p.m.
