Things To Do

Whether you're staying for the weekend or making a mini vacation out of it, San Antonio has something for everyone—history buffs, foodies, families, and folks who just want to relax and vibe. Here are some of our favorite local spots to check out while you’re in town:

Brown Coffee Co (Now A Memory)

812 S Alamo St, San Antonio, TX 78210

Where we had our very first date—great coffee, even better memories. This cozy little shop may no longer be open, but it holds a special place in our hearts. Though you can’t grab a latte here anymore, we’ll always remember the nervous laughs, the long conversation, and the spark that started it all. RIP to the best espresso and the start of something beautiful.

Halcyon Southtown

1414 South Alamo Street, San Antonio, TX 78210

We once danced in the rain outside this place. Come for the espresso martinis, stay for the magic.

Tito's Mexican Restaurant

955 South Alamo Street, San Antonio, TX 78205

The first meal we ever shared. Cozy, delicious, and forever part of our story.

Taco Palenque Broadway

1002 Northeast Interstate 410 Loop, San Antonio, TX 78209

One of our go-to spots! You have to try the Pirata Taco—don’t ask, just order it.

Pericos Mexican Restaurant

10820 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78250

Gabriella used to work here, so we’re biased—but the salsa really is the best in town. Go for the chips and queso, stay for the nostalgia.

Mermaid Trail

Gabriella loves mermaids, and is a Texas State University Alum. So naturally this artsy, whimsical trail is one of our favorites! If you're up for a little adventure, take a short drive (~45 minutes from San Antonio) to explore the Mermaid Capital of Texas. The Mermaid Trail is a self-guided walking tour featuring giant, artist-painted mermaid statues scattered around downtown San Marcos. Each one is uniquely decorated to celebrate the river, local wildlife, and the city's creative spirit (plus one tribute to a swimming pig named Ralph—yes, really).
