Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off for you to relax, celebrate, and enjoy. Our wedding will be an adults-only event.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What's the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request cocktail / semi-formal attire with a coastal, beachy twist. Since our ceremony is on the sand and the reception will be on both pavement and sand, we suggest choosing footwear you can walk in comfortably (think block heels, wedges, or dressy flats/sandals).

What time should guests arrive?

We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking, walking to the beach, and getting settled.

Can I park at the venue?

Yes! Zota Beach Resort has parking available for guests. Valet is also available.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. Ride-sharing (Uber/Lyft), taxis, and rental cars are all easy options in Sarasota.

Zota Beach Resort is our host property, and nearby hotels can be found on our Travel page. We recommend booking early due to high season in Florida.

Yes! Our ceremony will take place directly on the sand at Zota Beach Resort. We recommend sand-friendly footwear.

May in Sarasota is warm, sunny, and breezy. Evening temperatures are typically in the 70s. We recommend lightweight, breathable fabrics.
