I actually ran away from RJ the first time I was supposed to “meet” him!! Okay let’s rewind a little bit. RJ & I’s story began in January of 2014 when our mutual friends created a plan to get us together. He was on the high school baseball team at the time and I would watch as he picked up our mutual friend (his neighbor) after his practices. Eventually he was invited over to meet me without my knowledge. As he knocked on the door and came into his neighbors house we made eye contact and I ran down the hallway. I was 15 at the time and I still don’t have a valid reason as to why I did that! RJ & I started dating on February 6th, 2014. We were high school sweethearts, he was my best friend, and I always told my mom he would be my husband one day. Our love story has taken us through high school and college in San Francisco, San Diego, and Galveston, TX. Shortly after we celebrated 8 years together RJ got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Our love story has been one of growth, adventure, and new beginnings as we start our family as husband and wife.
