We met in 9th grade during first period science class at Cretin-Derham Hall. Like any other cliché love story, we were science partners turned ‘best friends’ for our high school years. We went our separate-but-together ways to Madison, and somehow kept crossing paths. In the fall of 2015 we ran into each other at a tailgate after Connor’s game and we picked up right where we left off. Since then we have been mastering #goodeats pizza nights and never looked back.

February is a full month – both of our birthday’s, Valentine’s Day and our favorite, our engagement. Six days after Connor moved back from Milwaukee we went for a walk to one of the places where it all started, Minnehaha Falls, to celebrate finally being in the same city again. We approached the half-frozen waterfall, and as Luna pulled me along, Connor got down on one knee. We were engaged and overwhelmed with happiness as we toasted with our families.

We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you and we can’t wait to see you in the Twin Cities! We waited 2+ years to toast with you all, so please, make sure to pack your dancing shoes! XOXO, G + C
