Valerio’s is one of the best restaurants in Cleveland, owned by the sweetest family around and located in the heart of Little Italy. The bride’s brother, Donte, is the chef, and his cooking is truly divine. Let your waitstaff know the bride sent you and ask Donte what he recommends ordering that evening.
We love the food here, especially for dinner and drinks. The best part is that if you absolutely love your meal, you can email the chef and he’ll share the recipe with you! It does book up fast, so be sure to reserve a table ASAP.
Dante has some of the best food in Cleveland, and the bride highly recommends the pasta sampler! You won't want to skip dessert here either.
Thai Thai is the groom’s favorite Thai spot in Cleveland. A bit outside the city, Lakewood is super walkable, with plenty to do after you’ve grabbed a bite.
17 River Grill overlooks the falls in Chagrin Falls. Definitely book a table outside, especially in September. The food is delicious, you can’t go wrong with the Lemon Parmesan Chicken, and the drinks are fresh. The bride loves the lychee martini!
Lola’s is new in Chagrin Falls, and the bride can’t get enough of the French cuisine or the French 75.
Bar 32 offers stunning views of Lake Erie (it's so pretty you *might* just mistake it for Tampa, Florida, the bride's old stomping grounds). You will find delicious craft cocktails here, all from one of the best rooftops in the city, located on the 32nd floor of the Hilton Cleveland.
If you’re looking for quick, easy, old-school Cleveland food, or some meats and cheeses to take with you on your drive or flight home, a Ferrara’s sub is the best around and a true Cleveland classic. Dare to add the hot peppers, (they’re not that hot)!
It’s still MLB season in September, so catch a Cleveland game if you can. Go Tribe!
Don’t forget about the Cleveland Browns! Fun fact: the bride was born on an NFL Sunday when they defeated the Raiders 28-16.
If you’re feeling lucky like we are, try your luck at the JACK Casino in downtown Cleveland.
For a little afternoon fun, visit Birdietown in Lakewood. They have a very unique indoor putt-putt course.
