There are multiple parking lots for the MSU Horticulture Gardens, but the one you want is off of Wilson Rd., in between Farm Ln. & Bogue St. It is located in between the Molecular Plant Science building and the Plant Science Greenhouses. Please refer to the satellite map to see what I mean. There is additional parking in the main lot of the gardens where the GPS will probably take you to as well! You will just have to find your way to the north garden (hint: follow the main path to the conservatory!)
The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm sharp. Please arrive by 3:30 to ensure you are seated and ready for the ceremony to begin!
Semi-formal to formal. Garden attire. Think whimsical, elegant, disco in the garden vibes. We would love for our guests to match our chosen color palette which includes shades of peach, gold, sage, and emerald green. Ultimately please wear whatever makes you comfortable and happy!
Our theme is apocalypse disco in the garden 🪩🦖☄️💐✨ We got engaged during COVID which felt like the end of the world, so pretend it’s your last night alive- what better way to spend your last hours then dancing and celebrating under the eternal disco ball with your closest friends and family?
Please let us know of any severe allergies and we will do our best to accommodate you! We will be having a buffet style dinner to better serve everyone’s individual tastes. Please see our MENU tab for more information and to view vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options that will be included in our dinner selection!
Because we had to split our guests between two hotels, we will not be doing a shuttle or organizing any transportation for guests. Luckily, East Lansing is a college town and there should be a number of Ubers and Lyfts available throughout the night! A useful tip to keep in mind is that you can schedule your rides ahead of time on the app! Also, the hotels are very close to the gardens, and with such a beautiful campus a walk could be fun too!
