Starting in 1912, Benedictine monks from France built a monastery overlooking Lake Memphremagog. It's a beautiful place to visit. Don't miss the gift shops; the monks make really good cheeses and other products.

The night time Forest Lumina books up well in advance, so purchase tickets early if you are planning to go. Stop at Laiterie De Coaticook on your way for fresh ice cream and cheese curds.
