Gabriel and Kimberly met at Santa Clara High School during their Sophomore year. During this time, they would have casual conversations and would see each other frequently due to being mutual friends within the same friend group and having classes together. Being the jokester that he is, Gabriel would always say "I'm going to marry her one day" but Kimberly always thought he was joking. After high school, they focused on school and working and eventually found each other again in 2020. After being invited to Gabriel's family lake house, she saw how family oriented he truly was and realized that was exactly what she needed. Someone who understood the importance of family. Through many obstacles came their way such as being long distance due to schooling, they worked together to hold the promise that they would be together forever! In September 2023 in Kauai, HI, the joke "I'm going to marry her one day!" was no longer a "joke". Gabriel popped the question and they decided to spend the rest of their life together!
