We met at online on a visit to New Jersey while Kevin was working there. Gabriela went back to Dominican Republic and we just stayed in touch for years, constant FaceTime calls and text messages , for years we would always say " you have everything im looking for " but we never acted on what we felt , and developed a really long, flirty, friendship. Years passed and we started talking as "more than friends" and late 2021 , we talked about how we could make a long distance relationship work .And it just clicked. We were ready to be together as more than just long time friends and made plans to see each other again . Kevin visited Dominican Republic . That’s pretty much when we knew for sure , "Okay. This is my person and we have to make this work ."

On the anniversary of when we became official , we went back to the first place we went on vacation together. When we were at the beach , Kevin got on one knee and nervously said " Would you marry me?" . The rest is history. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
