We met at a volleyball game in High School through mutual friends and didn't think much of it. A few days later, we started texting on Snapchat. We started walking to Baines (our favorite coffee shop in our town) together after school and hanging out there almost every day. Eventually Gabe asked me to be his girlfriend on one of our Baines hangout days :)

We went on a day date for our 4 year anniversary. Our first stop was Riverside Park in Downtown Lynchburg, where we went on a walk to take pictures and reminisce. We then stopped at a beautiful scenic overlook. Gabe gave me a rose from a cute little table that was previously set up. He took my hands and started talking about how much he loved me and how he will always love me. Gabe then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, and of course I said yes!!
