We're getting married!

Our story begins February of 2020 when Gabe returned from a patrol in the Pacific while serving in the Coast Guard. He had decided to reach out to Juli over Instagram to take her on a dinner date. Gabe’s previous attempt months ago yielded no results, but this time was different. She accepted! Nervous as all could be, Gabe picked up Juli from her house that same night and took her down to Hyde Park in Tampa for some fine “Mexican” cuisine at Bartaco. They both share a love for tacos, a match truly made in heaven. They hit it off great on their first date with lots of conversation that felt natural and genuine. When dessert time came around, the server mentioned that she had a treat for the birthday boy. Gabe played it cool pretending that it was his birthday and graciously accepted the birthday churros that the server brought out. The churros had a lit candle and a caramel drizzle in which the staff had spelled out “Happy Birthday, Keith!”. A classic mix up that Gabe took full advantage of. Turns out Keith was sitting next to Gabe at the adjacent table. To this day, Keith still thinks that him and Gabe share a birthday… Fast forward through the pandemic, buying a house together, and a wedding proposal; Juli and Gabe are tying the knot on their sixth anniversary!
