The currency in Colombia is Colombian pesos (COP). Most restaurants and businesses take Visa or Mastercard. AMEX is not commonly accepted. Pesos are recommended if purchasing good from small outside vendors.
Pereira has a spring-like climate year-round, with temperatures between 80-70 degrees F. Bring light clothing for the day and a jacket for cooler evenings. We also recommend bringing a rain jacket as small rain showers are not uncommon.
Pereira is a big city and not all of it is walkable. We recommend using uber. Car rentals are also another option especially if wanting to explore more rural areas. Transportation will be provided to and from the Venue.
