What is the dress code?

We kindly ask our guests to join us in formal wedding attire as we celebrate this special day. For gentlemen, a suit and tie is appropriate. For ladies, a floor-length gown, midi dress, or an elevated cocktail dress is perfect. We can’t wait to celebrate with you dressed to the nines!

Are children allowed?

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding day an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax and fully enjoy the evening with us. Thank you so much for understanding.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Merrimon-Wynne House in Raleigh, NC. No travel will be required between events.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive at least 30 minutes prior to allow ample time for parking and seating.

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

Yes. As we exchange our vows, we invite you to be fully present with us. We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be turned off and put away during our unplugged ceremony.

Yes, on-site parking will be available at the venue.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Raleigh–Durham International Airport (RDU) is the closest airport and is approximately 15 miles (20–25 minutes) from the Merrimon-Wynne House.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We pray the weather will be sunny and delightful, the ceremony and reception will include both outdoor and indoor spaces. We recommend checking the forecast and planning accordingly.
