Meet the Bride! Hazel is a grad student at Harding University in the department of Allied Health and is finishing up her final year of eligibility in the NCAA as a Division II Pole Vaulter. She is working on her masters degree in Strength and Conditioning and has a love for sports, comedy, young life, and one special boy out there! ;) She is also a member of Phi Kappa Delta where she initially met the groom (an honorary male member of the club) and later flirted with him while attempting to crowd surf!

Gabriel Mahon

Meet the Groom! Gabriel Mahon is a recent graduate from Harding University in the Department of Education and former member of Theta Social Club. Gabe is a 4th grade teacher at Southwest Middle School in Searcy, AR. He enjoys sports (especially football), cooking, and goofin’ around! (He also would like Hazel to mention in this autobiography that he knows a lot of facts about sharks).

A 4 year college roommate for Hazel and best friend of the bride, Chloe and Hazel have had their fair share of laughs. These two have shared many arkansas hikes, weekend trips, and lots of first time adulting together. They have made unforgettable memories in college and enjoyed each others company so much!

Cat and Hazel met during the duration of their time in High School together. Cat has always been a good friend of Hazel’s and is simply one of those friends you just have to have. During their friendship, the two have enjoyed many photography sessions, random adventures, coffee dates to catch up and possibly a *few* (borrowed) traffic cones.

Another High School best friend of the brides, Emery and Hazel have been friends since Hazel’s senior year of high school. They have shared many memories of sweet tea runs, young life, wearing traffic cones for hats, and wrestling live animals (for some reason)!

A cousin of the bride, Rach has been a good friend and family member to Hazel since they were kids. Despite living in different states, the two have managed to keep up throughout the years and enjoyed each others friendship!

Sister of the bride, Zoë has been a good friend of Hazel’s as they’ve shared many memories of college together and have enjoyed planning their weddings at the same time as they are bridesmaids for each other!

Friends since elementary school, Harmony has been around for the bride for a looooong time! Harmony and Hazel have shared many memories of early childhood and gotten to watch each other grow up despite living in different areas after elementary. They are now getting to see what it means to be a friend for life after being bridesmaids in each others weddings!

Brother of the bride and in turn, friend of the groom, “Z-Dub” has been an important influence each parties lives. He has been not only a brother, but also a best friend to the bride and one of the reasons Gabe had permission to date Hazel! Fun fact: In order to date Hazel, Gabe was required (per request of Hazel and Z-Dub) to beat Z-Dub in a classic local park basketball game!

Cadence and the bride have been friends for several years throughout college. They have become super close through adventures of pole vault and being suitemates for the last 2 years, sharing many laughs, inside jokes, and of course the same love for the great state of texas.
