Waiting Meets Promise

Gabriel & Fabiola attended their local church young adults ministry for some time. Although they would talk, pray, and socialize within the same group of friends, there didn't appear to be a chance for romance between them right away. But that all changed on January 10th, 2018, when Gabriel felt led to initiate a conversation with the beautiful Fabiola. From that one conversation came many more, and the two haven't stopped talking since.

After three years of waiting, the day had come for Gabriel to ask Fabiola to marry him; so the couple traveled to their favorite hiking trails in Tallahassee, Florida! After walking five miles that morning, Gabriel not-so-smoothly asked a tired Fabiola to walk another mile with him. They stopped at a lovely lakeside terrace. As they took in the moment, Gabriel read a special love letter to Fabiola. After he finished, Gabriel took the knee and gave her the ring which began the couples journey toward a life-long love!

We pray that our marriage becomes a living testimony to a God who mercifully answers prayer. There were many moments during our courtship that deeply challenged our love, but we chose to grow through each one together. We hope our marriage reflects the mercy, love, and compassion Jesus had for us everywhere we go, in order to glorify his name, and to point people to Him in whom there is true life, love, and rest.
