It was Fall of 2017, our first day of college. Young, hopeful, and trying to make sense of a world that felt entirely new, we quickly became friends, drawn together by how much we had in common. We saw the world through the same lens, shared similar struggles, and carried the same quiet determination. Between shared classes, long conversations, and laughter, there was something unmistakable between us. We were young, but we both knew it. But life doesn’t stop for anyone. There was still so much to learn, so much to experience, and so much to accomplish. Independently, we navigated the good, the bad, and the ugly of life. We celebrated achievements, worked through loss, and experienced milestones that shaped who we were becoming. Learning more about ourselves and the paths we were meant to follow. Five years later, we ran into each other again. That night, we lay under the starlit sky and somehow, in just a few hours, we poured five years of life into a single night. The joys, the losses, the lessons, all the moments that had shaped us. It was unfiltered and real, every emotion laid bare. We laughed, we cried, and on that quiet summer night, it was just the two of us and everything we had missed out on. In that moment, it became clear, we were exactly where we were meant to be. Since then, our relationship has been grounded in friendship, respect, and love. We’ve celebrated each other’s strengths, supported one another through life’s challenges, and grown together in ways we never could have imagined. “Destinado a ser, siempre será.” What is meant to be will always be. Whether you believe in God, the universe, or the magic of chance, there were a million and one reasons we shouldn’t have crossed paths again, and yet somehow, we did. Every moment of chance has led us here and we carry that gratitude with us every day.. Today, we invite you to celebrate the love we have carefully cultivated, surrounded by our dearest family and friends. Our journey has been shaped not just by each other, but by the people who have walked alongside us, those who have guided, supported, and encouraged us every step of the way. This day is a celebration of love, friendship, and community. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in our story. Era otoño de 2017, nuestro primer día de universidad. Jóvenes, llenos de esperanza y tratando de entender un mundo nuevo, nos hicimos amigos rápidamente, teníamos mucho en común. Veíamos el mundo de manera similar, compartimos problemas parecidos y teníamos la misma determinación. Entre clases, largas conversaciones y risas, había algo especial entre nosotros. Éramos jóvenes, pero los dos lo sabíamos. Pero la vida no se detiene. Todavía había mucho por aprender, experimentar y lograr. Cada uno siguió su camino, enfrentando lo bueno, lo malo y lo difícil de la vida. Celebramos logros, superamos pérdidas y vivimos momentos que nos ayudaron a crecer y a conocernos mejor. Cinco años después, nos encontramos otra vez. Esa noche, bajo el cielo estrellado, compartimos cinco años de vida en una sola noche. Las alegrías, las pérdidas, las lecciones, todos los momentos que nos hicieron quienes somos. Fue real y sincero, cada emoción a flor de piel. Reímos, lloramos, y en esa tranquila noche de verano, éramos solo nosotros y todo lo que habíamos perdido. En ese momento, entendimos que estábamos justo donde debíamos estar. Desde entonces, nuestra relación se ha basado en amistad, respeto y amor. Hemos crecido juntos de maneras que nunca imaginamos. “Destinado a ser, siempre será”. Aunque haya millones de razones por las que no deberíamos habernos vuelto a encontrar, de alguna manera lo hicimos. Cada momento nos trajo hasta aquí, y llevamos esa gratitud con nosotros cada día. Hoy, los invitamos a celebrar el amor que hemos construido, rodeados de nuestra familia y amigos más queridos. Nuestro camino no solo ha sido por nosotros, sino también por todos los que nos han apoyado y acompañado. Este día es para celebrar el amor, y para agradecer a todos los que han sido parte de nuestra historia.
