Maid of Honor
Laney is my favorite sister and even though she is two years younger than me, I look up to her in many ways. We have been the best of friends since day one, and I have really enjoyed growing up and sharing in all of our accomplishments together. She is a WVU athlete and grad and became a doctor of our favorite furry animals after graduating from Mississippi State, Go Dawgs! She has a fantastic taste in music and is always keeping me up to date with great tunes to listen to. Super smart, talented and a joy to be around. She loves her dogs, Daxter and Aberdeen, however they will not be in attendance at the wedding.
Matron of Honor
Meggie Jones and I became friends after finding each other through a Craigslist ad. She decided the best way to make the move back to Pittsburgh was to live with 4 strangers in a house in Shadyside. It was a successful decision and we have been best friends ever since. There is a never a dull moment when the two of us are together. Every time we are out together people ask if we are sisters and we just laugh and tell them yes. Meg is one of the sweetest, kind and most active people I know. She is a former collegiate and pro-soccer athlete with a heart of gold!
Bridesmaid
Em and I go way back to the days of elementary school. She kind of took me under her wing when I switched from catholic school to public school and we have been best friends since then. Through basketball, middle school, softball, soccer, summer league, Lynnwood pool, high school and college. There is not one time when I am around Em that my face or belly doesn't hurt from laughing so much. She is one of the funniest humans I know, and also has one of the best personalities. I'm so grateful to have a friendship like this, because she has been there through it all. Be sure to check out her moves on the dance floor, she is the best dancer this side of the East coast...
Bridesmaid
Stace and I have been friends since middle school. While growing up, Stace, Emily and I were always together especially during our middle school days and we all spent may days at each others houses. Stacie and I played volleyball together throughout our school years. Stacie was always the most mature one out of my friends and I made her my personal therapist and go-to book worm when I needed her. She is the best listener, advice giver and all around best girlfriend. She has the sweetest little girl, Luna, who is the center of her world. Stace has the biggest heart and a smile that is super contagious!
Bridesmaid
Amy and I met one night back in 2013 while working out at LA Fitness in Robinson. At the time, we were dating other guys who were friends and when we broke up with them, we became better friends with each other! Why? Because GIRL POWER! Amy is my favorite friend to go away on spontaneous trips with and we had many nights we refer to as "Chelsey and Amy nights" that we have since retired from. Amy is the older sister that I never had. We think on the same page and enjoy so many of the same things. Although we live in the same city, we sometimes are terrible about seeing each other to catch up. However, we always pick up right where we left off. She is smart, funny, successful and genuine. One of our favorite passing time acitivies is FaceTiming my mother after a few glasses of wine.
Bridesmaid
Becky is my future sister-in-law. She is married to Gabe's brother Alex and they have an adorable daughter, Roma. I'm so happy that we have become such great friends over the past 2 years and cannot wait to continue to make memories. Her personality shines from the inside-out and you can't help but smile when she walks into a room. She is a Jersey girl at heart, but since being with Alex and moving to the city, she has adjusted well to being a Yinzer.
Bridesmaid
Kadi, pronounced like the rapper "Kid Cudi", is Gabe's brother Nate's fiance! So that makes for another sister-in-law for me. She is from Estonia and will be your favorite Estonian at our wedding. She finished her education and earned a Master degree from WVU, so she is also a fellow Mountaineer! Even though they currently live in sunny Tampa, FL, we have managed to remain close and become great friends. She has the sweetest personality and is one of the kindest humans I know.
Best Man
Alex is one of my older brothers. Alex was a senior in high school I was a freshman. We ran track together in high school and chased each records. I believe I ended up breaking one or two of his, although I was nice enough to leave him the 300 hurdles. Alex graduated from Notre Dame and he also attended Slippery Rock U. for one semester. During that semester he stayed with us in a tiny 4 bedroom apartment on my couch. Reno, Oller, CJ and myself did not mind because he paid us rent with beer. Alex also tagged along with me for a spring break trip to Ft. Lauderdale Florida. It was a good call because he met Becky during that break. You will have to ask Becky what her first impression of me was. Alex and I have been to festivals together and have shared many good times.
Groomsman
Tony is my oldest brother. He is in the Airforce and currently is stationed in Germany. Before that he was stationed in Tokyo, Japan and Florida. Tony is an Eagle Scout and a huge outdoorsman. He is adventurous, always exploring new parts of the world, is a an avid reader and likes metal music. Some of my best memories with Tony were playing N64 and if I managed to beat him one out of ten times in Goldeneye I was happy, As kids we would always be hiking in the woods, swinging on monkey vines or building bike jumps out of wood and cinderblocks and having crabapple fights in the front yard.
Groomsman
Nathaniel is my youngest brother. Nate would go to track camp at SRU in the summer. I was the older brother with the apartment where we were always having a good time. Nate and his buddies would stop over to my aparment after camp for the day and hang out. We taught them drinking games and showed them a good time. It was good practice because Nate got some experience before he attended the #1 party school WVU. I used to go and hang out with Nate and his buddies at WVU and he returned the favor. While Nate attended WVU he studied abroad in Cork, Ireland and that is where he met his Estonian Princess Kadi. Nate and Kadi are now engaged and living in Tampa, Florida.
Groomsman
Justin is my only first cousin on my mom’s side and we are 8 months apart in age. Mudbone AKA Johnroy is my brother from another mother. Since we were kids, we were always together and schemeing up some sort of adventure. We would find a way to stay at each others houses and cause trouble one way or another. We would hike, build forts, swim around in creeks and ride dirtbikes or quads. Somehow at the end of the day we would be covered in mud from head to toe. We had a lot of the same friends and would always get together and have fun. When we were younger, during the 4th of July we would go around and snag a beer or whatever we could get our hands on. Justin and I shared many good memories and you will definitely find him on the dance floor.
Groomsman
Reno is one of my oldest friends. I met Reno when I was in 7th grade during soccer practice. Reno and I continued to play soccer and run track all through middle and high school together. Reno also attended SRU where he and Oller roomed together 5 doors down. Reno and I had a yearly tradition of going to see Dave Matthews band each summer. We have probably seen them over ten times. In 2008, Reno and I went to Lollapalooza along with my brother Alex. We were 21 at the time and it was one of the best weekends he ever had. Reno now owns a house in Dormont. We are in a bowling league together and still have a lot of fun in the city.
Groomsman
I also met Oller in middle school during soccer practice. Oller and Reno were best friends before they met me and then we quickly became the Three Stooges. Oller also played soccer all through middle and high scool and he made varsity our freshman year. I think he made it to varsity before us mainly because he always had the freshest shoes. Oller attended SRU with Reno and I where he majored in healthcare and rap music. Oller is the grandad of the group because he is a year older than us and we definitely don’t t let him forget it. We frequently go golfing in the summer and hang out in the city. Oller got married in 2016 and he and his wife Nancy adopted a boy named Jax this past year.
Groomsman
CJ is my best friend from SRU. We met when we became roomates our freshman year and we roomed together throughout our time at SRU. We ran track and did just about everything together. No one could talk about either of us without the other being mentioned in the same sentence. Our freshman year we roomed 5 doors down from Reno and Oller and we all quickly hit it off from the start. CJ is from Delaware and won’t let you forget it. He would come home with me during holiday breaks from school. I showed him around my home town and we always found a way to have some fun. We introduced each other to the best of both worlds and we always crack each other up til we cry. CJ lives in Elizabethtown, PA. He and his wife Michelle had a boy named Gavin in 2018.
